This day celebrates all that the cancer nursing workforce provides for patients in the UK. These nurse specialists are professionals who support patients who are experiencing cancer. They play a key role in delivering individual care, as well as supporting patient needs both physical and emotional.

Today, we'd like to shine a spotlight on our staff members who are part of this cancer nursing workforce. Our trustee, Natashia, is a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She helps inform our work as a charity with her expert knowledge. We also like to highlight the work of Sharon, our Nurse Advisor. Over the last few months, she has been working extremely hard to coordinate and improve our support work with those affected by germ cell cancer. She has been gaining insights from our Thriver Community to transform our support services moving forward.

Our CEO Toby Freeman said: 'It has been fantastic to see our community come together across the UK to share their experiences and use their voice to help others. It has been a long-term goal of the charity to make this happen.'
